Standard dialysis sessions
One blood pump and simple operation.
Double-needle dialysis draws blood through one needle and returns it through the other; single-needle dialysis draws and returns through the same needle in turn, which helps when the vascular access cannot take two needles. Sequential dialysis runs fluid removal (UF) separately from the dialysis itself.

About the Formula
What is the difference between the Formula, Formula Plus and Formula 2000 Plus?
The Formula is the base model of the family: one blood pump, double-needle and single-needle dialysis, and sequential haemodialysis with isolated UF. The Formula Plus adds Kt/V measurement, and the Formula 2000 Plus has two pumps and more treatment modes. We offer the base Formula.
Who operates the machine and sets it?
The nephrologist sets the treatment and its settings for each patient, and the unit's trained dialysis nurses run the machine from its colour display.
Does the machine need a water treatment unit?
This machine comes without the water treatment unit. It connects to the treated-water supply of your dialysis unit, and the unit's engineer sets up the connection.
Which concentrates does it use?
Powder or liquid bicarbonate, and conventional or acetate-free acid concentrate. It also connects to the unit's central concentrate distribution.
How is the machine disinfected?
It has built-in chemical and heat disinfection programs, and it also connects to central disinfection systems. Its single-pass hydraulic circuit is low-volume, so disinfection reaches the whole circuit.
