About the BM 40
What is the difference between «With adapter» and «Without adapter»?
The monitor is the same. «With adapter» includes the Beurer 071.95 mains adapter (100–240 V) to run it from a socket; «Without adapter» runs on 4 AA batteries only. Remove the batteries before using the adapter.
How does it differ from the BM 28 and BC 28?
The BM 40 is for the upper arm, with a 22–35 cm cuff and 2 users × 60 readings. The BM 28 is also upper-arm, with a 22–42 cm cuff, 4 users × 30, a resting indicator and cuff-position control. The BC 28 is a compact 92 g wrist monitor.
Who decides if my blood pressure is high?
The monitor only measures and records. The colour scale and the heartbeat warning are not a diagnosis; show your readings to your doctor, who assesses them.
How do I measure correctly?
Sit and rest for about 5 minutes first, and measure at the same time each day. Put the cuff on a bare upper arm, and don't talk or move until the measurement ends.
What cuff size does it take?
The supplied cuff fits an upper-arm circumference of 22 to 35 cm. Measure around the middle of your upper arm before you buy.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
