About the Z50
What is the difference between the Z50 and the DP-15?
The Z50 is full colour Doppler (Color, PW and Power) with a 15-inch screen and up to 3 transducers. The DP-15 is black-and-white with Directional Power Doppler, a 12.1-inch screen and up to 2 transducers. If you need colour Doppler or PW blood-speed measurement, the Z50 does that.
Who operates the system and chooses the transducer?
The physician or sonographer. They choose the probe and the exam for the organ, and tools like iTouch make image adjustment quick. There is no fixed probe set: the probes are chosen with the customer according to the clinic's work.
Where do extra probes and spare parts come from?
The system accepts Convex, Linear, Micro-convex, Endocavity and 4D volume probes. Order any extra probe or spare part from customer service on 01212333328; we service the system for its whole life.
Does it run on mains or battery?
Both. The AC power adapter is built into the unit, and the rechargeable battery gives about 1.5 hours of scanning without mains power.
Where are images and reports stored?
On the 500 GB internal hard disk, with iStation for reviewing patient files. You can also send them straight to a PC as DCM, JPG, BMP or AVI.

Maintenance centresCan I return or exchange the device?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
