A volumetric pump draws from the bag or bottle through an IV set, so it suits larger volumes than a syringe pump. ±5% accuracy means the volume delivered stays within 5% of what was set. Bubble detection from 20 µL means the pump alarms on a very small air bubble, and the drug library lets the nurse pick the drug by name.

About the BeneFusion VP3
What is the difference between the VP3 and the VP1?
Both are ≤ ±5% accurate. The VP3 adds a drug library of up to 200 drugs, 7 modes instead of rate mode only, flow up to 2000 ml/h in 0.01 ml/h steps (the VP1 goes to 1500 ml/h), 14 occlusion levels instead of 3, bubble detection from 20 µL instead of 50 µl, and a 3.0-inch screen instead of 2.5.
Who loads the drug library and sets the dose?
The department prepares the drug library (the pharmacist or the person in charge of the devices), the physician prescribes the dose, and a trained nurse loads the IV set and selects the drug and mode. Auto-lock prevents accidental changes.
Does it work with any IV set?
Yes, it works with universal IV sets, and the screen shows the IV set brand. Order any spare part from customer service on 01212333328.
Does it run on mains or battery?
Both. It runs on 100–240 V mains; if the power goes, the battery gives at least 4 hours at 25 ml/h, and charges in 6 hours at most.
What happens if there is air in the line?
The pump stops the infusion and alarms when it finds a bubble larger than the level set (20 to 800 µL), or when accumulated air passes the set limit. Clear the air from the line and carry on.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
