The two numbers that matter in any syringe pump: accuracy and flow rate. ±2% accuracy means the volume delivered stays within 2% of what was set. About the BeneFusion SP3
What is the difference between the SP3 and the SP1?
Both are ≤ ±2% accurate. The SP3 adds a drug library of up to 200 drugs, 9 modes instead of rate mode only, flow up to 2000 ml/h in 0.01 ml/h steps (the SP1 goes to 1500 ml/h), 14 occlusion levels instead of 3, and a 3.0-inch screen instead of 2.5.
Who loads the drug library and sets the dose?
The department prepares the drug library (the pharmacist or the person in charge of the devices), the physician prescribes the dose, and a trained nurse selects the drug and mode on the pump. Auto-lock prevents accidental changes.
Does it take any syringe?
It takes 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 and 60 ml syringes and recognises the size by itself. Order any spare part from customer service on 01212333328.
Does it run on mains or battery?
Both. It runs on 100–240 V mains; if the power goes, the battery gives at least 6 hours at 5 ml/h, and charges in 5 hours at most.
What happens if the line is blocked?
The pump stops and alarms when pressure reaches the level set from its 14 levels (75 to 1050 mmHg), and it reduces the unexpected bolus that could follow once the blockage clears.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
