About the HeartSave AED-M
How does it differ from the Defi 5 and the FRED PA-1?
The HeartSave AED-M is the only one of the three with a screen showing written instructions and the ECG. The Defi 5 has two buttons with voice and light guidance. The FRED PA-1 has pre-connected electrodes with an RFID tag.
Who uses the device?
Anyone trained in first aid and CPR. The device analyses the rhythm and decides whether a shock is advised; instructions come by voice and in writing.
How long do the pads last?
SavePads have a 36-month shelf life and a 1.5 m cable.
Does it record each use?
Yes, on a CF card: over 100 hours of data and voice; voice recording can be switched off.
Is it protected against dust and water?
It is rated IP55 against dust and water splashes.

Maintenance centresCan I return or exchange the device?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
