SCHILLER FRED PA-1 Public-Access Automated External Defibrillator
A SCHILLER AED for public places, with pre-connected electrodes carrying an RFID tag that checks their expiry; it recognises child electrodes and adjusts the energy itself, and guides the rescuer by voice with a metronome for the compression rate. It is used according to first-aid and CPR training.

How does it differ from the Defi 5 and the HeartSave AED-M?
The FRED PA-1 has pre-connected RFID electrodes and checks its battery and electrodes itself. The Defi 5 has two buttons with voice and light guidance. The HeartSave AED-M has a screen with written instructions and the ECG.
Who uses the device?
Anyone trained in first aid and CPR. The device analyses the rhythm, decides whether a shock is advised and guides the user step by step.
How long does the battery last?
6 years on FRED PA-1, 3 years on the FRED PA-1 Online version.
Can it be used on children?
It recognises child electrodes and adjusts the energy for them.

Maintenance centresCan I return or exchange the device?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
