About the CardioMax
How does it differ from the Defi Xpress, the XD and the HD-7?
The CardioMax has the largest screen (8.4 inches), a removable battery and a preset sequence for the first three shocks. The Defi Xpress has an 8-inch screen, the DEFIGARD HD-7 a 7-inch touch screen, and the DefiMonitor XD a 5.7-inch screen.
Who selects the energy and the mode?
The doctor or trained staff, on the energy selector or the paddles. In AED mode the device gives voice and on-screen instructions.
Can it be used on children?
Yes, it has adult and child paddles; the maximum with the child paddles is 50 J.
What power does it need?
100–220 V, 50/60 Hz, or an external 11–16 V DC, with a removable rechargeable Li-Ion battery.
Does it store cases?
Yes, over 150 patients and 2 hours of continuous ECG in AED mode, transferred to a PC over USB.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
