In air mode the incubator holds the air temperature inside the hood between 20 and 37 C. In skin mode a sensor sits on the baby's skin and the unit holds the baby's own temperature between 30 and 37 C, with a sensor accuracy of 0.3 C or better. Choosing the mode and setting the values is for the neonatal team or the responsible physician; a keypad lock keeps the settings from being changed by accident.

A power-failure alarm sounds and shows immediately. When power returns, the recall memory restores the settings exactly as they were, with nothing to re-enter. The unit also alarms on fan failure, sensor failure, temperature override and system failure, each with an alarm silence button.

Temperature rise time is 45 minutes or less. Once there, temperature fluctuation is 0.5 C or less and mattress temperature uniformity is 0.8 C or better. An override mode takes air temperature to 39 C and skin temperature to 38 C.

The hood is double-tilting with 6 hand ports, two of them circular, and 4 tube inlets. The front panel opens 826 x 310 mm when the team needs wider access. Noise inside the hood is 55 dB or less.

It comes with IV poles, a guard rail, a keypad lock and a self-test, plus an RS-232 output for network connection. The mattress tray is 630 x 360 mm with 450 mm from mattress to hood, and input power is 400 VA or less.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons.
