About the IH 18
How does it differ from the Miko and the 402AI?
The IH 18 and the Miko both use a compressor with a mist rate of approx. 0.35 ml/min. The IH 18 is quieter (approx. 52 dBA vs approx. 56 dB) and lighter (1.3 kg vs 1.45 kg), but runs 30 minutes on and 30 off, while the Miko runs non-stop. The 402AI is an ultrasonic unit with no compressor.
Who sets the medication and the session length?
The doctor. Use medication only on your doctor's advice; they set the type, the amount and the session length.
Can it run continuously?
No. After 30 minutes of operation it must be switched off for 30 minutes before you run it again.
How do I clean it?
Switch it off and unplug it first. Clean the cup and accessories after each session and disinfect them after the last session of the day. Replace the filter after approx. 500 operating hours or one year, or when it is wet or blocked; never run the device without a filter.
Can more than one person use it?
The device is made for personal use at home. If someone else will use it, the cup and all the accessories must be replaced.

Maintenance centresCan I return or exchange the device?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
Exchange and returns policyDo I need a prescription or a doctor's report to buy?
The device itself needs no prescription, but the medication used in it, its dose and the number of sessions are set by the doctor, so it is best to start sessions with the doctor's prescription.
