About the F5A

What is the difference between the F5A, N5 and P2?

The F5A is a full face mask rated up to 40 cmH₂O with an anti-asphyxia valve. The N5 is a nasal mask up to 25 cmH₂O. The P2 is a nasal pillows mask up to 20 cmH₂O and the quietest of the three (18 dBA at 1 m).

How do I know my size?

The F5A comes in S, M and L. Our sales team confirms your size on WhatsApp or by phone before shipping. If the mask does not seal or feels uncomfortable, you may need another size; your doctor or respiratory therapist can help.

Will the mask work with my device?

The mask is made for CPAP and bi-level devices recommended by a physician or respiratory therapist, who checks it against your device and settings.

What if the device stops or the power cuts?

Wear the mask only while the device is on and blowing air: the vents need airflow to clear exhaled air. If the device stops, take the mask off. Keep the vents clean and unblocked.

How do I clean it, and how often should I replace it?

Daily by hand in clean water at 25–35 °C with a mild detergent for 10 minutes, no bleach, alcohol or scented products, and dry away from sunlight. BMC advises replacing the mask within 12 months of first use, or sooner if a part cracks or tears.

Can I return or exchange the device?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.

The treating physician decides whether this device is right and sets it up, so it is best to have the doctor's report or recommendation before buying. We can then help you run the device on the settings they prescribe.
