This device may suit you if...
The final choice is made with your doctor. These are the uses the device is made for.
Your doctor prescribed S/T BiPAP
It offers S/T, S, T and CPAP modes.
You need high inspiratory pressure
Inspiratory pressure up to 30 hPa; expiratory pressure adjustable from 4 to 25 hPa.
You want oxygen readings with therapy
An SpO2 kit (an optional accessory) shows oxygen saturation and pulse, with a low-SpO2 alarm.
CPAP vs BiPAP in one line: CPAP delivers one pressure all the time. BiPAP delivers a higher pressure on inhalation (IPAP) and a lower one on exhalation (EPAP), so breathing out is easier.

Detachable dual-chamber humidifier
350 mL, with the Eco Smart heating system. Heated tubing is an optional accessory, ordered separately.
Every night's report on your phone
The BMCares app for iOS and Android shows therapy reports for the last day and for 7, 30, 90, 182 and 365 days, with data moved by iCode QR from the device screen. A built-in SD card records everything, and the RESmart nPAP PC software reads and prints the report. Sending data over WiFi or cellular needs the GPRS / Wi-Fi kit (an optional accessory).
Therapy data at hand
3.5-inch screen. Data moves by SD card, GPRS, WiFi or QR code.
Comprehensive alarms
Leak, high/low respiratory rate, high/low pressure, low minute ventilation, low SpO2, power failure.

Frequently asked questions
About the RESmart GII Y-30T
What is the difference between the RESmart GII Y-30T and the G3 B30VT?
Both reach 30 hPa inspiratory pressure and both offer target tidal volume. The Y-30T has a detachable dual-chamber humidifier, a stated 4 to 25 hPa expiratory range, and a low-SpO2 alarm. The G3 B30VT is third-generation: it detects obstructive and central apnea where the Y-30T detects obstructive only, and it is quieter (below 26 dB vs below 30) with an integrated humidifier.
What is the difference between the Y-30T and the Y-25T?
Maximum inspiratory pressure: 30 hPa on the Y-30T, 25 hPa on the Y-25T. The rest of the specification is the same.
What does S/T mode mean, and who sets the device up?
In S/T mode the device follows the patient's breathing and delivers a backup breath if no breath comes within a set time. The treating physician sets the mode, pressures and backup rate; they should not be changed without them.
What happens during a power cut?
The device has a power-failure alarm. The D1402 power bank and a DC/DC converter can run it without mains power. These are optional accessories. If the patient needs the device for long periods, agree a power-cut plan with the doctor.
My nose or mouth feels dry. Does the device help?
The Y-30T comes with a detachable dual-chamber 350 mL humidifier with the Eco Smart heating system, and heated tubing is an optional accessory, ordered separately. If dryness continues, ask the doctor to review the settings.
