CA-MI Askir C30 FS Surgical Suction Unit with Two 2 L Jars and Foot Switch
An Italian CA-MI surgical suction unit on a 5-castor stand, with suction up to -80 kPa and a flow of 40 litres of air a minute, running non-stop. It comes as the FS Setup with two 2 L jars and a foot switch, and suits general surgery, gynaecology, dental work and nasal, oral and endotracheal aspiration in adults and children. The surgeon sets the vacuum level.

How does it differ from the New Aspiret?
The Aspiret is a 2.2 kg desk unit with one jar, 15 L/min and -75 kPa, made for home, wards and minor surgery. The Askir C30 stands on castors with 40 L/min at -80 kPa, two jars and a foot switch, and is made for surgery.
How does it differ from the Hospivac 350?
The Hospivac 350 is stronger: -90 kPa and 60 L/min, with 5 L jars and a change-over that switches jars without stopping suction; it weighs 13 kg. The Askir C30 is lighter and smaller (6.2 kg).
Who sets the vacuum level?
The surgeon or medical team, according to the use. The unit has a vacuum regulator and indicator.
What protects the unit if a jar fills up?
The jar cover has an overflow system that stops fluid passing once it is full, and an antibacterial, hydrophobic filter then protects the pump.
What power supply does it need?
230 V / 50 Hz. 2 L jars, silicone tubes and genuine CA-MI spare parts are available from us.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it is unused, complete with its accessories and in its original packaging. If it arrives defective or different from your order, we replace it or refund it in full. Masks, tubing and any items that contact the patient cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. Return shipping is on us for a defect or a wrong item; otherwise the customer pays it, unless a free-shipping offer applies.
